Job Description:
The Western Railway Museum is looking for talented Scare Actors to participate in our annual Haunted Carhouse Tours.
This paranormal attraction will take guests on a paranormal journey through our trains, while guests encounter plenty of ghosts and ghouls.
As a Scare Actor, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talents while performing on historic vintage trains and equipment.
You will collaborate with a team of professionals to create memorable performances that will haunt audiences of all ages.

We are looking to fill the following roles.
Haunted Actors:
Portray a ghost from the past that is sure to terrify Museum guests.
Characters will range from the WWII, Old England, Zombies and more! Haunted Tour Guides:
Our tour guides will Guide our guests past these haunted characters, while following a detailed storyline and procedure.
Duties:
- Perform aboard historic train cars for a haunted attraction - Memorize lines and/or actions and deliver them with emotion, clarity, and authenticity - Collaborate with Museum staff, producers, and fellow actors to bring characters to life - Attend rehearsals and participate in blocking, staging, and character development - Engage with audiences and create memorable experiences through scary and captivating performances - Adapt performances to different venues and audiences, including children Skills / Requirements:
- An interest in acting and the ability to portray a wide range of emotions and characters - Excellent memorization skills to quickly learn and retain scripts - Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, producers, and fellow actors - Creativity and imagination to bring characters to life in unique and compelling ways - Physical stamina and flexibility for demanding performances, including rehearsals and multiple shows per day - Must be 15 years of age or older Job Types:
