INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

As a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:
Subject matter expert responsible for providing CI functional services, oversight, and support to the cleared Defense Industrial Base. Subject matter expert conducting CI collections directed against foreign intelligence entities (FIE) targeting cleared industry. Collect, evaluate, analyze (field-level), and disseminate suspicious activities, threat information and other actionable information. Identify deficiencies and recommend appropriate countermeasures necessary to counter FIE efforts to illegally obtain classified and sensitive information and technology. Prepare intelligence reports, briefings, and executive summaries of investigations and operations. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, and will typically be demonstrated by working at, or immediately below the level of the job being advertised, for a year or more. The previous work experience must clearly demonstrate the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience required for this position is:
Demonstrated specialized experience in the field of counterintelligence (CI) collection, investigations, operations, and in-depth research, compilation, and field-level analysis of a wide range of extremely complex and sensitive information to determine Foreign Intelligence Entity threats to US interests. Knowledge and experience with the National Industrial Security Program and the DoD Personnel Security Program process sufficient to correlate counterintelligence issues emerging in cleared industry. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
